My name is Joe P and I'm the assistant director in charge of the Washington field office of the FBI. The FBI's mission is both in the criminal investigative world and the national intelligence world. NSI is so critically important to us because it is important for the FBI to mirror the demographics of society and have the ability to communication with all cultures, all people and all nations.  Our goal is to have a job offer for you when you finish this internship program. Understand the golden opportunity that you have to join the FBI and the intelligence community because this isn't just a job, this is a life and this is a career. I'm on my 33rd year with the FBI and we're recruiting people and I watch them progress within the agencies and positions that I think first of all didn't exist five years ago. Each and every one of you out there has the ability to contribute not just to the FBI but to the future of the United States of America.
